I love rocks.

Eric and I are both geologists. One of the things that you do as a geologist is travel around and look at rocks. Hard work ain’t easy…

Our den sits above a crawl space that is completely insulated.  It’s nice and warm in there.  Our den on the other hand, is not so nice and warm.  In an attempt to warm up the den, Eric climbed into the crawl space to size up the air ducts for insulation. My new office

Your home has a story – unlock its history!

If you’re interested in unraveling your home’s history, start by knowing when that history began.  Our first house was built in 1930 – our real estate agent told us that, and of course it’s listed within the hundreds of pages of closing documents.  I actually contacted the city’s historic preservation officer to see if he would drive by my home… (more…)
