This is an approximation of what went in to the Clayton is Stout… at least, it’s the ingredient list that I brought into the Wine & Hop Shop… can’t believe I’ve lost the list of what we actually put in there…

1# 40L Crystal
2# Belgium
2# Chocolate Malt
0.5# Black Patent
Mash – Sparge- Boil
At boil – add 2-3 cinnamon sticks, 1-oz Columbus Hops, boil 60 min
Add 1-oz Northern Brewers, boil 15 min
Add 2-oz Mt. Hood & 0.5 gallon strong coffee – Steep for 20 min
Strain into carboy & pitch Irish Yeast at 76 degrees
Update: We cracked a Clayton-is-Stout open on Dec 28th. I would share this one with anyone who asked… it’s soooo tasty!
